After losing the father who was his only support, Hyogo, a half-unemployed freelance writer, is left with almost nothing. All that remains to him is an old farmhouse in the countryside, a remnant of his childhood, and one person he cannot abandon. Tenshi, his stepsister. Once a cheerful girl, Tenshi is now fragile and withdrawn after losing both of her parents in the same tragedy. With no relatives left and nowhere to belong, she has only Hyogo—the last family she has. To keep his promise, Hyogo brings Tenshi to the countryside, far from the noise of the city, to begin a new life together.
